Frequently Asked Questions
Please see the answers to some of our more frequently asked questions. If your question isn’t answered here, please contact our office and let our dental professionals help.
Do Veneers ruin your teeth?
This is a common misconception, but it is no longer the case. With Minimal-Prep Veneers, the prepared teeth retain most of their height, and only a thin reduction is made to the enamel on the front of the tooth to allow the veneer to bond securely. No-Prep Veneers can be used in certain situations and can be placed directly over a tooth with no reduction.
Will my teeth look fake with Three-on-Six Implants?
The answer is no! Because of the 3-on-6 process and how it is performed, we will be able to preserve your gum and your bone, and design a perfect smile for you that looks completely natural.
Does Dental Implant surgery hurt?
No, more often than not, our dental implant procedures are painless and seamless because of our technique, our protocols, and advanced sedation methods of painless dentistry before, during, and after your procedure.
What if I suffer from dental fear or anxiety?
We offer sedation for most dental procedures performed in-office. We offer IV sedation, oral sedation, or even general anesthesia in-office on an outpatient setting, depending on your need or anxiety level.
Do I leave 3-on-6 with Same Day Teeth?
3-on-6 is a very detailed surgical process. We make sure that you leave the same day with bridges on your implants that are sutured directly to your own gumline. You leave with same-day teeth in a day.
What is the difference between 3-on-6 and All-on-4/All-on-X?
With 3-on-6, also known as FP1, you get to preserve your gum and bone. These are like natural teeth, you get to floss and clean them, and they basically never have to be removed. It is basically like having natural teeth again.

How often do I need to visit the dentist?
It is recommended that you visit the dentist every six months for a cleaning and exam. Regular cleaning appointments keep your teeth cleaner than just brushing and flossing at home, and the exam allows our dental team to catch potential problems early. If you are experiencing gum disease or other problems, your dentist may recommend more frequent visits to treat this condition.
It has been a while since my last dental visit, what should I do?
We understand that sometimes it can be difficult to schedule regular dental appointments. It is never too late to get your oral health back on track, so we recommend scheduling an appointment with our team as soon as possible to treat any potential complications.

What is gum disease?
Gum disease, which is also known as periodontal disease, is caused by bacteria invading your gums. As gum disease progresses your gums will appear red and swollen and will bleed easily. Gum disease can also cause bad breath and sensitivity in your teeth. If gum disease is left untreated it can lead to pain, abscesses, or even tooth loss.
